园林技术是一门普通高等学校专科专业，属林业类专业，基本修业年限为三年。2015年，教育部将园林技术、城市园林两个专业合并为园林技术一个专业。
该专业培养具备园林技术的基础知识与技术技能，能从事园林植物栽培与养护工作的高级技术应用型专门人才
园艺园林，地产园林等板块（我也不知道是不是对的），但不管什么园林，其实作为工程来讲，它是一个系统的需要各专业配合的专业性极强的共同协作性工程，园林设计了建筑大部分板块。
我们的园林道路（园路及骑行绿道等）属于市政道路工程，我们各种构筑物砌筑等属建筑工程，我们室外给排水、安装照明、景观喷泉等工程也属于市政工程，我们园林的亭台楼阁、小桥流水涵盖建筑市政桥梁等所有工作，还有我们的植物栽植景观摆件（桌椅、小品、雕塑等）属于园林景观及装饰工程。故学习园林专业是一个长期的系统的综合性极强的专业学科，这也是做好一个园林工程的必备要素。
