2005.3-2006.12加拿大渥太华大学医学院 博士后研究员 主要从事组织工程和非病毒转基因载体的研究,首次构建了基于人重组胶原的角膜替代物,有望解决角膜供体奇缺的难题;在壳聚糖基载体、非离子转基因载体、刺激敏感载体、生物相容性良好的量子点基载体方面取得了富有特色的成果。系统研究了壳聚糖载体对DNA的缩合作用,考察了DNA的构象变化和复合物的拓扑结构变化,提出壳聚糖与DNA的强静电相互作用是限制基因表达的重要因素,由此构建疏水改性的高效壳聚糖衍生物转基因载体;创建了可调控基因包装和解包装的温度敏感转基因载体,创新性地构建了基于与DNA碱基对形成氢键的分子识别转基因载体,并系统研究了DNA缩合的本质,拓展了非病毒载体的设计思路。构筑了可胞内氧化还原降级的高效低毒非病毒载体,揭示了高分子支化结构对于复合物结构和胞内缓冲的影响规律。设计了低毒可原位成像的ZnO量子点和纳米金刚石基非病毒转基因载体,拓展了ZnO量子点和纳米金刚石的应用范围。近年来在Advanced Materials,Biomaterials,Advanced Functional Materials, Biomacromolecules,J Controlled Release,Bioconjugate Chemistry, J Mater Chemistry, Soft Matter等国际著名材料类期刊发表90余篇论文,他人正面引文和评述1800余次,申请中国发明专利20项,授权15项,获天津市自然科学一等奖一项(排名第二),

2006年入选教育部新世纪优秀人才计划,2013年获得国家杰出青年科学基金资助。 中国化学会会员,美国化学会会员,英国化学工业协会会员
